I’m a one-man operation dedicated to fighting the forces of bad web design and giving good people the intuitive interactions they deserve. It’s just me, but I work well with others and respect my clients.
I live and work in Seattle.
I’ve been designing websites for nearly ten years, now. I’m a relentless self-educator who gobbles up blogs, books, and magazines related to web, graphic, and interaction design.
I was born and raised in Lewisburg, PA. I play the drums. I studied philosophy at Northwestern University. I love thai food, live blues, dead Russian authors, and college basketball.
So why call yourself twelve8|creative?
The truth is, I don’t remember. There was a good reason originally, but the name stuck while the inspiration didn’t. So while there are theories — the height of my Hummer (12'8"), the birthday of Jim Morrison (December 8) — it’s just a name. Feel free to call me Kyle.
